Mataichi Salt Maker – Tottan Workshop
It is a salt maker on the tip of the Itoshima Peninsula farther along the coastline from the Kishi Port, and you can observe the process of salt making using the Itoshima’s seawater.
It is a popular spot where you can learn how salt, which is very familiar to us, is made,
and experience the joy of creating something yourself!
Foods and beverages will be served including “Salt Pudding,” which became famous for its use of Mataichi’s salt, and you can enjoy your meal while gazing at the ocean♪
You can have a relaxing time in the spacious facility.
The trailhead of Tateishisan is approximately 10 mins away from here by car, so it’s also recommended that you visit both as a set.
Approximately 25 mins from Global MIRAI by car (Approximately 7 mins from the parking lot on foot)
