Tateishisan

 

Tateishisan is a low mountain at an altitude of about 200 meters, and you can enjoy climbing it and seeing a magnificent view!
It has a panoramic view on top, and when it’s good weather, you can see Himejima in Itoshima City and Karatsu City in Saga Prefecture.

There are two trailheads, but it is recommended that you take the southern trailhead where you can go to the middle of the mountain by car and then walk to the top!
This southern route will get you to the top in approximately 15 mins.
Even though it is an easier route, it is rocky, please wear comfortable clothes for walking.

It is also approximately 10 mins away from Mataichi’s Salt and Keya no Ohto by car, so if you have a chance, please climb it during your sightseeing♪
